Summary

Following a meeting sponsored by Medstead Parish Council a Committee was formed in January 2007 to oversee the development of a Parish Plan for Medstead.

The Committee was also responsible for gathering information, raising awareness within the Parish and undertaking the consultation exercises required before creating the plan.

The Committee also managed the budget and was a non-profit making organisation. This meant any funds left over after completion of the Parish Plan were distributed to worthy causes in our Parish.

The Committee acknowledges the funding support received from East Hampshire District Council, Community Action Hampshire, the Local Network Fund (LNF) and Medstead Parish Council.

Following publication of the Parish Plan in July 2008 the Committee disbanded and Medstead Parish Council established successor groups to carry forward the Action Plan.
